SWEAT TRAINING CO-OWNER NIK GREEN

Nik has been weight training since the age of 14. He started on his back porch with a barbell made with a broomstick and some plastic weights. He used a large speaker from his church as his bench, and would take every set to failure which meant he would have to roll the weighted broomstick off of his chest much to the amusement of his family. Ever since the first set of curls that he did with his makeshift weight set he's been hooked.

Nik graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2001 with a degree in Information Management. He has never forgotten his love of fitness and health even when school and job demands would get in the way. In college Nik used his love of weight-training to help deal with the rigors of college life.

Nik is currently preparing to compete in his first amateur bodybuilding competition. Although most people see bodybuilding as this sub-culture filled with "Meat Heads"; Nik wants to do his part to dispel this myth and show that the bodybuilding lifestyle is just one approach to a healthy lifestyle.
